Virtual Schooling

More than 10 years ago, I realized something that literally changed the course of my children’s education and life opportunities. It’s the power of virtual schooling that gave my three daughters a world-class education, and a ticket to unlimited opportunity
The results?
Our eldest daughter is on the president’s list at one of the most competitive colleges on the West Coast; our 16-year-old is in an accelerated college program at our local university; and our 13-year-old attends a hybrid school with an emphasis on math, science and engineering.
I had no special advantage, nor are we wealthy. The girls are bright, but not phenoms who played chess at 2 or aced algebra at 6. In my quest for helping my children attain success, I co-founded the largest alternative education site on the Internet, co-authored a definitive guide, Homeschooling for Success, and became school board president of a public virtual school.
What Every Parent Needs to Know
I guided our daughters through various virtual schooling opportunities. We went through exhaustive research, learning, and trial and error. Through my own experiences, I have uncovered methods that will dramatically improve your child’s performance in school, that will place students on a fast-track approach to college, and will give them the tools to succeed in tomorrow’s new workplace.
I co-authored the first book ever written on virtual schooling with Lisa Gillis and Christina Culver.
